Senior Windows Systems Administrator

The ideal candidate will have 5 plus years of hand-on Systems Administration experience. Candidate will be responsible for enterprise level support projects, encompassing systems, networks and SAN / NAS storage, and day to day support as required. Candidate should have cross discipline knowledge and understanding of IT technology from network typology to BackOffice infrastructure and design.

Key Objectives and Responsibilities:

  • Windows OS administration and operations support
  • Active Directory support
  • Patch and firmware administration
  • Server build and imaging
    • Basic Citrix administration
    • Exceptional customer service skills
    • Strong problem-solving skills
    • Solid working knowledge of VMware ESX 3.x and 4.x
    • Working knowledge of McAfee ePolicy Orchestrator and client deployment
    • Strong documentation and analytical proficiency

Competencies and Capabilities of the Successful Candidate:

  • MCSE (Certification Required)
  • Active Directory * Expert Level Knowledge
  • Windows 2003 Server / Windows 2008 - Server Expert Level Knowledge
  • Windows XP /Windows Vista /Windows 7
  • Imaging experience with SMS and Ghost
  • Advanced hardware & software troubleshooting skills
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Team player with the ability to work well independently maintaining focus
Must possess above average organization & communication skills

Education
